Basic Meaning

The ore is the mineral aggregate. Under the economic condition of modern technology, can process and draw metal or other products from the mineral with commercial scale. In the past, exploit solid material that out in metalliferous deposit, At present, it has expanded in some nonmetal mineral.

The percentage of useful minerals which takes up in the ore called ore#8216;s value. Such as gold, platinum,etc. use gram / ton to express, the unit of percentage used in other ore. We usually use the value to appraise the ore, but the gangue in the ore which is the harmful mineral has a bad effect to the ore.

Classification

Generally the ore are divided into the low-grade ore, ordinary ore and high-grade ore. But sometimes the ore are divided into low-grade ore and high-grade ore. Usually every industrial department and mining areas have their own calculation ranges. Generally, the ore are divided into metal ore and nonmetal ore.

Main Variety of the Ore

The iron mineral is various in styles. At present there are more than 300 kinds of iron minerals and minerals including iron. Among them the common ones includes more than 170 kinds. But under the present technological condition, that have industrial value is mainly magnetic iron ore, haematite, magnetic, haematite, ilmenite, brown iron ore and siderite, etc..

Ilmenite: The color is gray for iron oxide black or steel. The streak is steel is gray or black. The ilmenite mainly appears in ultra base rock, base rock, alkaline rock and acid rock and metamorphic rock.

Silicate Iron is a compound salt, having uncertain chemical formula. The composition of it has a great change with dark green in generally condition. It is very low to includes irons which is a kinds of worse iron ore.

Sulphide iron is a kind of ore often contains many other more valuable metal such as Copper, Nickle, Zinc, Gold, Silver etc.. So it often used as other raw materials in metallurgy industry. Because it is contains a large amount of sulphur,so it often used for obtaining and refining. During this time, the iron has been turned into a instead production.
