Features of Chinese Mineral Resources

Through development for many years, there are advantages and disadvantages of mineral resources in our country. The details of the features are as following:

(1) The mineral resources are abundant in total amount, the variety is complete, but there is less per capita occupancy.

(2) The quality of most of the mineral resources is poor and the international competitiveness is weak.

(3) Shortage on some important mineral products or reserves of verifying are insufficient

(4) Growth with complicated ores, which has increased the technology of development and utility.

(5) The large scale ore are very small, which constrains the development of the mineral profit.

(6) The mineral resources are unbalanced in geographical distribution, the producing region misplaces in the consuming area with processing region.

(7) The structural contradiction of mineral products of energy is conspicuous.

(8) There is much lean ore and few rich ore, ore apt to select, cause the cost of the commercially available ore to increase greatly.
