Xi¡¯an University of Science and Technology

The predecessor of Xi'an University of Science and Technology is Xi'an Geological College. Since June in 1999 the University was changed the name of Xi#8217;an Science and Technology and then in year of 2004 was changed the name of Xi'an University of Science and Technology.

At present, there are 6 colleges and 11 departments, besides, the college of sustainable education and college of electronic information also belong to the university. 47 bachelor degrees contains 5 universities of department's classes such as science, liberal arts, industry science, management and law; having second discipline master station of 51; 1 first class discipline of the doctorate. Have a national key discipline, 10 province (department) key disciplines and famous-brand speciality of 5 provinces. There are more than 1650master degree candidate in the university and more than 14900 bachelors and adult education students with more than 5100.

Now the university has the history of 48 years. It is provide more than 40,000 professional talents for the society.
